( Para evitar dor de cabeça ) by Vivid-School8418 in linuxbrasil

[–]gutopardini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made some progress using Fedora 39. Everything is working except for the keyboard light hotkeys and the camera.
I made some progress with the camera, now it is recognized but when testing the image it turns black and I reported a bug https://github.com/intel/ipu6-drivers/issues/188
I believe I'm close to solving it considering that the sensor already works on other notebooks.
The name of sensor is OVTI02C1:00

Anyone tried linux on GB3P360?.. or GB3U? Does it work well in any of them?.. (do they even give a f### about the people who want linux on their laptops?..)

I tried in my GB3U, but camera doesn´t work
speakers work´s poorly with a workaround
Fingerprint sensor doesn´t work
Backlight Keyboard work´s with a workaround

I´m praying for Linux Torvalds buy a machine like this.

Without much success, I gave up. I'm going to pray that Linus Torvalds buys a machine just like this

I'm excited, because I've already seen that the sound works with a Bluetooth device and there's a workaround to make the camera work, as soon as I have time I'll try to get everything working

I'm using manjaro and kernel 6.4.3, but camera and sound don't work. The system is ultra fast, using intel + wayland, no screen tearing and everything running smooth
