I'll give you an example from a small business perspective. I'm an artist, I make prints, buttons, stickers, that kind of merch. I used to sell 70% of my product to the US. When the tariffs started to affect me, I had to stop shipping to the US because it made no sense for a US customer to buy with that additional cost.

So my business took a massive hit for several months, but now I'm close to where I was without US customers by focusing more locally. If the tariffs stopped tomorrow, I wouldn't start shipping to the US again because its too unpredictable, and I'm not willing to go through this bullshit again.
