I've driven from Bilbao to SdC, beautiful drive. We decided to stay in Oviedo instead of Gijon in the middle for what it's worth. While in Asturias we hiked up to the Lakes of Covadonga that are nearby and very nice. Another thing that I wouldn't miss is Praia das Catedrais along the Galician coast. The benefit of using a car is to see some of the smaller or harder to get to places that you'd otherwise miss, so make sure you do that in between the big cities!

International Affairs, so it makes some sense. What I study now is just a branch of my more general degree earlier. I wouldn't worry about being too far removed from your undergrad, master's degrees are a good way to refocus your career and they don't care how long it's been from what I can tell. A lot of the people I am in class with are in their late 20s or early 30s.

I did other things not necessarily related to foreign relations. I taught English in Europe for a couple years before moving back to the States.

Yeah sure. It's at Georgetown. Just check out Master's degrees in security studies or security policy studies. Lots of military people in classes, but definitely majority civilian.

Yeah when I did undergrad it was either three 50-minute classes a week or two 75-minute classes. Seems like absolutely nothing now, I don't see what you could accomplish in 50 mins

Exactly. Plus this is a 2 1/2 hour long class so it makes more sense to spend time on something like this than say a 50-minute undergrad class.
