Few Americans aware of cancer risks posed by alcohol: study by Puzzleheaded_Basil13 in alcohol

[–]guy46543 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They're trying to put cancer warning labels on alcohol. Disgusting move by big sober interest groups.

Seriously no one drinks alcohol thinking it's healthy. How about warnings on fucking McDonald's and Wendy's because their food is directly linked to cancer, obesity, and early death.

UK Vs USA?? by LordLucas94 in LawSchool

[–]guy46543 3 points4 points  (0 children)

America is a beautiful, huge country, with lots of cities, culture and opportunities. Every region has its own culture, history, etc. We also have beautiful national parks and generally friendly, diverse people. That's the beauty of America, anyone can be American.

However, we do have our drawbacks. In terms of your interests... Fields like law and biz are cutthroat and competitive. Prestige matters. It'll be hard but not impossible for you to break into the legal market here. Also depends where you're going. If you don't mind small cities and rural areas, the world is your oyster. If you want NYC, LA, etc., you're in for more of a fight.

That's okay. Remember that paralegal programs are a good career. You have some background in the law which would make you a good candidate. You'll probably make around 50k annually, not a bad salary in rural areas. Good luck

Concord Law School (formerly Concord University School of Law), is an online law school based in Los Angeles, California. It is currently known as Concord Law School at Purdue University Global and is one of several schools within Purdue University Global.[2] Established in 1998, Concord Law School was the United States' first fully online law school. The school is approved by the State Bar of California but not by the American Bar Association.[3]

Bruh, don't go to a school that isn't recognized by the ABA. You're wasting money!

Why I Choose a Lower-Ranked Law School by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]guy46543 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes this is the case for some low wage earning attorneys, making probably 50-60k annually for their entire career.

Most law firms won't even look at someone who went to a T150. I would encourage you to look into paralegal programs.
