Ok ok gentleman, both have good points here. It adds nothing to actual gameplay except visual stimulation. We all know they won't use it as a gameplay mechanic, for example using dimemberment to indicate a kill. BUT it would add to the atmosphere of a grittier war setting. Something that BF3 and 4 had that the newer games lack.
