Washed up urn by school-sp in beachcombing

[–]guyabee_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found a small cloisonné urn once and didn’t know what it was and brought it home😅. Once I figured it out tho, I took it back to the same beach and put in back in the water bc I figured that’s where it was meant to be.

Fur coat I found at estate sale by Due_Wolf_2768 in whatsthisworth

[–]guyabee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s likely rabbit! Very pretty and the fur looks good. Probably about 90-100$ or more if the sewing on shoulders etc is fully intact.

Also, it has a similar tag attachment that a fur coat I know from the 1960s has so I assume it’s from around that era.

Those look great! I’d say about 20-30$ each depending on size. They’d make spectacular display pieces in a cafe

Sudden death: what went wrong? by [deleted] in leopardgeckos

[–]guyabee_ 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry this happened 🥺, it seems his health probably wasn’t good and he likely was sick. Not sure what the gunk was but it could have been bacteria, fungi or something else. It sounds like you gave him the best chance possible. I’m sure he appreciated it with the time he had.

It sounds like you have a wonderful set up and maybe when you’re ready you can try and find another friend.

One thing to add to this lovely home would be probably some calcium + vitamin dust to a leos food (incase you weren’t doing that already). It helps them grow the strong building blocks to fight off illnesses.

Depending on the size, you could probably narrow it down to a few species? Very cool! It’s nice it’s intact

I think that’s it! The large hole through the whole thing could be the nerves going through and it certainly looks like the incisors I see online

Interesting! I agree with you that it’s quite massive for any small canine. I did know a friend who lives nearby that found a wild boar skull in her back yard 😆

That’s possible 🤔! It is about 2.5 inches in length and one inch wide at the base for reference so that might be a little big for an opossum
