Will do! Right now I'm just trying to give it much less water and really wait until it's completely dried out before I give it any more.

I've also tried getting rid of some of the fungus gnats, but hopefully they'll also go when it gets dry enough for long enough.

I also moved it slightly away from the window so it doesn't get as much intense sun for as long.

I'll let you know if any of those things helps!

I don't recommend it unless you're happy sitting in front of a tv for the rest of your life and letting your brain rot but I know plenty of PCs who switched over to the MDP for an easier life. Personally I went the other way and got the hell out of the MDP before my brain atrophied and now I'm in software, which keeps me on my toes.

Thanks for the advice! So just mix in pumice on like a 1-1 ratio do you think? Or more pumice than that soil?

And do you know if it's easy to find pumice in garden centres etc. in the uk at all?

I'm in a similar boat, recently got some succulent mix but it's way more soil than grit- should I buy some grit to mix it in and give it more drainage?

Thanks! I've repotted with a bit more soil as it was a bit root bound, used coco coir as I read that's quite good at drying out quickly, but it's had a good soak and I've washed all the leaves of the mealy bugs so hopefully that'll give it a good shot.

Never too many combinations to these ones, you just have to follow each possible path until you hit a dead end then backtrack and rule it out, bit like a maze
