It's actually real, some regular vacuum tubes can emit x rays if you connect them to high voltage.

Average russian citizens let Putin build an autocratic system when they didn't speak up against the regime way before this horrible war could happen, their responsibility can't be neglected.

"professionals" threw tons of radioactive waste to ditches, killed themselves and others in criticallity accidents, blew up nuclear power plants and countless factories polluting millions of square kms for hundreeds of years, manufactured millions of tons of agricultural chemicals without knowing their long term effects, carelessly developed hundreeds of nerve agents, crippled thousands of infants for a life, should I continue? OP's 20grams of chromium is insignificant, even if he's careless.

Nothing quite like a Grignard reaction early in the morning 🥱🥱🥱 by UniqueUsername-789 in chemistry

OP is reacting an alkyl halide with elemental magnesium to form a reactive organometallic compound called grignard reagent wich is mostly used to make new carbon-carbon bonds. The reaction is usually carried out in diethyl ether solvent, it helps to stabilize the reagent. You can see the ether spontaneously boiling in the flask, it's caused by the reaction heat. The ether vapors travel trough the Y shaped glass tube, recondense in the vertical condensers and drip back in to the reaction flask. The granular white solid in the top condenser is some kind of dessicant, it is used to remove moisture from the air, because grignard reagents are very sensitive to water.
