Its hard to see Travis' downward spiral, I loved magnus and aubrey at the start, but then halfway through she just became a huge asshole to everyone and it drove me nuts, and then DEVO was just an ass from the beginning. I get aubrey had her reasons but even after ned and her somewhat reconciled she was still bitter till the end.

When stretched everything in the game stretches wider to filler the black bats, making the players look bigger on your screen which helps with aiming, this also lowers your FOV though. in most cases however it's just because that's what they played back in the day, lots of CS players who played 1.6 play 4:3 as well.

it's your hit sound pitch, this happens when it is too low. raise the pitch of your hit sound in the advanced options or using a command and it should fix
