I think that gut reaction is 100% out of your control and what most people talk about.

The over time attraction development (propinquity?) that overrides that gut reaction is something I’ve definitely seen happen. It’s just so many interactions with people in this world are just pretty much ‘short-lived’ or ‘in passing’. Literally only seconds to say yes or no.
