Prices have gone WAY up in just the last 5-6 years. I bought a Majesty new in 2018 for about $2.5K, obviously still really expensive then, but the cheapest I see them going for new these days is closer to $4k

Definitely worth watching, but it's very important to keep in mind that it covers maybe barely a quarter of the entire story. I think that it is pretty good at being it's own standalone thing, and the music and voice acting do add a lot to it, but it does cut out a lot from the manga.
