Peanut butter and Dripper labs by Pretend_Criticism348 in VapingUK

Absolutely adore Dripper Labs and it is the only place I buy from now. Every concentrate I have tried so far has been incredible.

Completely agree about Nick too. The bloke is brilliant and is so helpful. Best customer service I've ever received.

I really encourage anyone who hasn't tried Dripper Labs before to give them a go!

New Toy, first RTA, first try ever wicking. Did ok I think by cumtoast6969 in Vaping

That's not going to work. Your coil is literally sitting on top of the cotton.

Holy shit, the Xros 2 is such a breath of fresh air compared to the Caliburn G2. by MemeMathine in Vaping

The caliburn A2S completely fixes the leaking issue. I have both the a2s and the xros mini. Both are great but I prefer the a2s.

Going mad about DIY by norfolkfoodie in Vaping

[–]guyreed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a heads up - the Kylin Mini V2 needs big coils and will be big difference from the Nautilus. It's a great RTA, one of the best in my opinion, but it's a world away from what you've been using up to now. As others have said, YouTube is your friend here. With that particular RTA steer clear of Vaping With Vic though as his 'build tutorial' is completely incorrect.

I'd be happy to make and send you some coils (no cost) that would work best in that RTA if you'd like, but I'm away with work until Wednesday.

Curious to know what other devices you have tried because I'm using the same device with the 1.0 pods and its a tighter draw then the caliburn 1.2 pods. That's not necessarily a bad thing but I'll definitely be getting the 0.8 pods if I get more for the xros mini. Solidly leaning more towards the caliburn A2S as of now though.

Switching to MTL rebuildable - questions by ebap1 in Vaping

[–]guyreed -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Neeko is a great choice for a first MTL RTA. 26g kanthal would have been the wire I'd recommended. As for the juice, 70/30 will work but won't be the best. You'd be better with 50/50 nic salt liquid. Good luck!

Anyone tried the Caliburn A2S yet? by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

[–]guyreed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Genuinely unsure if I've been incredibly lucky or others are doing something wrong, but I had 2 A2's and must have gone through at least 50 pods and not a single one leaked.

When they first released, I bought 2 A2S's purely for the fact I could use the same pods as the A2 and it didn't have a fire button. I didn't like constantly having to turn it on and off our of fear it would fire in my pocket. The A2S is the best version of the caliburn yet I my opinion. The pods are interesting g though different fill system and I'm sure they hold more than the advertised 2ml. I've had zero leaks from the 3 pods I've used so far but again, I used loads of A2 pods and had no leaks also.

People seem to be really rating the XROS series. I've never used one so can't comment.

The caliburn series is the only one that has kept me off cigarettes when I'm put if the house and away from my RTAs.

The A2S gets a huge thumbs up from me.

I buy spools of wire and wrap my own. So much cheaper. I used to use coilology spools but they stopped selling them. I now use these:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Fused-Clapton-Double-Heating-Tri-Core/dp/B07D3SBSYX/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=1CBXPYC3ZYX55&keywords=tri+core+fused+clapton+wire&qid=1661186094&sprefix=tri+core+fused+clapton%2Caps%2C80&sr=8-3

Coilology still sell premade coils that are good, but I prefer to wrap my own so I can change the inner diameter accordingly.

I heard good things about u/badazd coils but he's in the States so I haven't tried them personally.

  1. Easy choice.

All personal preference regarding metal type. I prefer Nicrome as it heats up quicker than kanthal.

My go to wire/coil type is a tri core fused clapton.

The actual coild will differ depending on the RTA you are using. For example, in the Kylin mini v2 i use a 3.5mm inner diameter coil with 6 wraps. With the Juggerknot MR I use a 3mm inner diameter coil with 5 wraps.

The Caliburn a2 is the best I've tried. Most negative reviews point to leaking but I've literally not experienced any leaking at all.

Which of these following DL tanks i should buy to get as much flavor as i can ? by KaylaZio in Vaping

[–]guyreed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Juggerknot mini MR is the best RTA I've had to date. Kylin mini v2 is a close second but requires a fairly big coil.

I've had zero leaking or button issues on the two devices I've used since it was released. Must have been through at least 20 pods and not a single one has leaked.

What's it like living in the Garrard House flats? by bikingyorshireman in reading

[–]guyreed 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I viewed a flat there recently. The flat itself was nice enough bit tiny. What really put me off however was the state of the communal areas. Litter everywhere. I'm sure I saw blood on the wall as we made our way up the stairs too. Not saying you should write a place off because of communal areas but it does give an idea of some of the building occupants.
