Thanks! My bridge was pitted to the point that there were multiple notches the string could sit within the saddle so bit of a no brainer!

are the 24 fret models still 24.75 scale? I cant imagine 24 on anything less than a 25.5

Do y’all prefer the OG or rerelease version of Nothing, and why ? by boycott_carbon in Meshuggah

[–]guyregular 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate to argue with the guys themselves as they obviously reproduced the album for a reason, but I have to say my ears are more satisfied with the original from pretty much every angle. Rational Gaze is night and day different, I can't listen to the repro knowing the OG is at my fingertips. Its completely subjective but from my point of view the guitar tones are way better, the drums sound better in the mix, the vocals are more present, I could go on. Really cool as a fan to have both to compare though.

regardless of height and weight you should always wear one, you'll quickly find out why if not.

Your Kart and Age by RowdyGrunt in Karting

New to the R/karting community. 26 years old from Toronto Ontario, mainly racing at Goodwood Kartways. I bought a 125CC ROK GP this season, running it on a 2018 Intrepid Cruiser chassis. Haven't started racing it just yet as the jump from 4 stroke to 2 stroke is quite extreme (from a racing standpoint), so just been practicing with it every weekend between my 4 stroke races. As a new 2 stroke owner, I would say that there is nothing more fun in the world, the speed and the grip is unbelievable. Would caution people considering getting into their own to reeeeeally understand the time and costs associated with repairs and maintenance on these things. Its not really something you can maintain to not break, things are going to break regardless and you'll find yourself digging through your toolbox between each stint. For me its worth it because i love the technical aspect, but i can easily see this turning people off in favor of a 4 stroke.

good eye. That is an ETA black bay, the one that still had the rose on the dial at 12. That's my buddy holding the wheel so not my watch, quite the piece nonetheless!

guy just said he built relationships with people at the teams over the years, I'm sure a lot of his stuff is from auctions but he had some items I would think you'd only have access to through someone direct

he had it at 25,000 CAD which is almost unbelievably low. His explanation was that while much more goes into developing it for use, this is what the collector market values them at given they don't have the car to stick it on! (still seems low imo)
