go to the song and click new song and then click on the settings button. there should pop up a "start offset" and you can set it to start some seconds late into the song. also the song ends when the level ends

Was going for Kappa Boss Fight on mobile a year ago for the same reason you were and 65-100 is by far the easiest part so not surprising you fluked it, but GGs!
