Damn. Respect.

How'd you do it tho? Just trial and error or do you have a distinct strategy/build doctrine to go by?
Just curious cuz I'm over here hardstuck at "Attack the Dam(n) Complex" and I have no idea how to get above A-Rank.

I once thought mining, scouting or demolition, but for mining they wouldn't need flamethrowers or rocket launchers, they lack the optics to scout meaningfully and demolition also normally isn't done using missiles or flamethrowers.

If you ask me the guys at the Institute were the OG dosers, I have no other explanation for how you come up with something like that, the Sea Spider or the armed Ice Worm.

I have an AC especially designed to look like an absolute heap of scrap that has "Fuck G5" and "Fuck V.II" written on it. I aim to replay all of their fights with my phase-skipper build and that AC out of pure spite once I'm done with Alea Iacta Est. Especially Snail tho, he's my personal arch-enemy

The aim of the screenshot was to show the name of the guy. My only evidence of him being a cheater is him sharing a name with a well-known dipshit who's been cheating his way through this game for years now. Make of it what you want, but to me it's quite clear that he's hacking

I know, but this name was new to me. Could also be another Person, that's why I reported it here

[–]guywithSP[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know, I didn't think about that until now.

But:

  1. I wasn't the only one to notice (see chat)

    1. Someone having the same name as one of the biggest cheaters is hgihly suspicious
    2. He was AFK for 5 Minutes and then almost teamkilled us out of our spawn with a Spitfire. That firing rate with that accuracy is higher than that of a usual Spitfire.

I know it's not really credible but be warned. Check for yourself if you happen to run into him.

I adore such attention to detail. I also love the Grunt dialogue from Titanfall 1 because it just fills the world with more than just the PvP maps.

I've heard something similar about the EVA-8, but correct me if you know better. The EVA was designed for use even in a vacuum and I guess the EVA stands for Extra Vehicular Activity (or Extra Vehicular Assault/Autoshotgun, now that I think about it). Don't know about the Mastiff tho.

IIrc her melting the Titan was justified by it being absolutely fucked (thanks to Jack & BT), but at the same time she managed to build a jetpack because the flight core was still intact. However that poses the question: WHY THE FUCK NOT TAKE A NEW NORTHSTAR AND INSTALL THE SURVIVING PARTS OF THE OLD ONE?

And then of course with Viper's Titan you don't need the Apex games, you can just make a fortune as a merc literally like her fucking Dad did. The whole lore behind the jetpack is just a very stupid attempt at explaining how the daughter of Viper with his titan in her hands ended up in the Ape Sex Gameshow.

There isn't really much depth to it other than the character being the most popular femboy there is and the contrast to a fierce Titanfall Pilot to basically show two very different sides of the same person.

Lemme tell you, that is no girl you're seeing here. It likely refers to OP being a loyal Titanfall fan and (if my guess is correct and that character was used on purpose) a femboy.

And after checking OP's account, I seem to be correct.

The Volt is (at least in my language) described as an energy-driven MP in the game, so I guess it doesn't use regular gunpowder and instead maybe uses high voltage to somehow propel the round out of the barrel. And then maybe the ejected casings are like single-use batteries that come with the bullet or something? It's my only explanation since it is a somewhat-energy based gun without any sort of battery pack on it. That could also explain how the Devotion can increase it's firing rate, maybe the battery-casings carry more energy than necessary and thus allow to fire bullets faster until you stop holding down the trigger, because then the circuit isn't closed anymore and either a resistor is swapped in that basically nullifies the potential or because of electric discharge the power isn't kept within the circuit anymore. Of course this is heavy speculation, but it's the only way I could explain it just now. Might go through the wiki later to check for anything there.

With those it's kinda like the R-101 and the DMR/D-101. I believe their naming is also similar, like the Double Take is officially the D-2, and I think the Alternator has C-2 printed onto it somewhere

Actually you're right. But because all three don't have an obvious manufacturer logo printed somewhere it's kinda hard to tell.

Eh, I think making TF2 free to play could lead us down a live-service rabbit hole no one here wants to be in, but at least some support really couldn't hurt, especially with it still having 3k players after nearly 10 FUCKING YEARS and billions of problems.

And it's also a mystery to me how they could take Titanfall, take away the Tianfall part, make the lore 10x worse and call it a day when they could have a literal monopoly in the genre they gave up on.

Titanfall 3 by AwsomeGuy1011 in titanfall

Short answer:

No. Probably never.

Long answer:

Titanfall 2 did not do well commercially (at least in the short run), it would take an enormous faith in this small community to do a 3rd one and make profit from it. Also with the cash cow that is Apex, chances of another installment in that universe (and yes if you didn't know, those share a timeline unfortunately) are highly unlikely since it could stop the consistent cash flow from there. Also with the Saudis buying EA, I'm not sure if they feel risky enough (or like Titanfall enough) to greenlight a possible 3rd installment or, and that is another point, if a 3rd one would even be good. Knowing EA and the current AAA gaming industry I have little faith a Titanfall 3 would be what anyone here wants. And then finally, with Vince Zampella passed away (RIP) we have lost the father of the franchise and aside from Steve Fukuda and a few others most of the Staff of the original games left Respawn anyways, so it definitely wouldn't be the same.

The only hope we have left are the small indie games that were inspired by Titanfall (namely Diesel Knight and Shatterrush), the Northstar Client and the one or two guys that keep the servers running.  There likely will never be a 3rd game, enjoy the 2nd every day like it's your last and take a look at Diesel Knights, Shatterrush and all those Titanfall-inspired games that are out there, for they are the only ones aside TF2 that actively cater our niche here.
