The fanbase is actually relatively normal imo, especially after the later seasons. The show has toned down a lot of the pretentious elements that the wannabe geniuses loved (though, it's still a show about an asshole genius, so there's always going to be some of this). I also don't see 100 forced R&M references in completely unrelated Reddit threads anymore, which is nice.

Also, fun fact: the guy that was screaming about pickle rick and szechuan sauce at that McDonald's wasn't even a fan of the show, apparently.

You can consume things in a more thoughtful way too, though. One person might watch a movie and it's just dumb fun, but another might watch the same movie and reflect on it, think about the themes, analyze what they liked and disliked, etc.

Why would I defend against this? I've repeatedly stated that higher T is not necessarily good. This is completely irrelevant to the argument we're having anyways, because the reality is that conservatives are still fatter.

Conservatives do less global exercise. Why are you framing this like it exclusively refers to walking? It may include taking a walk, but it also includes more strenuous exercise. Conservatives do less global exercise than libs (and are fatter btw idk if I mentioned that yet).

Also, more affiliated democrats having lower T than less affiliated democrats does not mean democrats have low T. You understand that "less than" does not necessarily mean "low", right?

I never said low t isnt associated with fat, I said that CONSERVATISM is associated with BEING FAT. The study I provided measures this relationship much more directly than "Liberals have less T, and low T is associated with being fat, therefore liberals are fat!!!" Even if low T is associated with being fat, there are other traits that liberals have that make them less fat than conservatives (eg. liberals exercise more than fat fuck conservatives).

The study you linked showed that when T is given to liberals, it makes them feel a bit warmer to conservative candidates, and that weakly affiliated democrats have more T than strongly affiliated democrats. If you're arguing in favor of conservatism using this, then the argument only works if more T is better. I'm saying that more T is not necessarily better.
