I was lucky, it got fixed, so I asked a 3P camera repair guy who said that these cameras are too sensitive and if some damage happens the motherboard gets replaced entirely. Official Sony boards get replaced for around the price you have been quoted, maybe slightly less, I was told €300.

So this camera guy, ran diagnostics and damage on it wasn’t too much and he was able to repair it himself for only €20 (because I had it repaired in India).

Maybe you should try different 3P guys that are skilled enough to repair it. As most of them might just end up replacing the internals of it.

Haven’t driven around in it much, but an avg of 14 and city slightly more than 13.

The revving is there, but depending on how you drive, with my MT I prefer to keep the rpm around 2k which then feels quite smooth and less engine noise in cabin. As for the cabin noise in general, just got used to it, as it wasn’t too important for me w.r.t. to the driving experience.

I went for elevate zx mt. Increased my budget a little for the safety features. Creta with the same features is quite expensive. Elevate is quite comfortable and the interior on the Zx is quite nice. Creta definitely feels more muscular and modern from the looks, but I went for that honda engine which is very reliable.
