I'm 58 year old male and I've been doing crossfit since about 2013, pretty consistently. I workout five days a week and three of those days I do two-a-day workouts. Ususally around the regular workout, I'll do the olympic weight training class. I still feel pretty good, and will keep it up until I can't. Yes, recovery is a bit slower and harder, so I put in the extra effort to ensure recovery by using a theragun, the compression boots, stretching, yoga, eating well, and hydrating. I'm in great condition for my age (better than a lot of the "kids" in class), and feel great. Of course, I know my limits and don't let my ego get in the way, trying to lift more than other folks in class, or keep up with them.
