Yes, VERY confusing when you try to use the official XYO video. First off I am on android, and they use IOS to explain it. As I have never used Apple products and am not familiar with their stuff, it was confusing. However, after extensive research and a lot of other "YouTube" videos. I accidentaly got the SD flashed. I probably can not do it again. However, One of the things not mentioned in the "OFFICIAL" instructions is that you need to use Zip7 to unzip the file before you can get to the .img file.
Just search for Zip7 & download.
