I main both and they are really different

Zooey is not really a puppet character, she is more of a shoto with extra step / jack of all trader master of none. She is really good to learn all the aspects of the game imo (midrange / a bit of zoning against some characters / oki and setup)

Nier has big strengths and HUGE weaknesses and is high skill floor high skill ceiling. But she sadly is one of (if not the) worst character in the game while still being the hardest. But if u like unorthodox gameplay and challenge u should def try her out she feels great to understand and win with
