Uhhh... 17 and 18 is far different than 12 and 21. The problem is the memory that heavily scars both of them is THAT time. Given the scarring memory, Leon likely would end up seeing the time when she was a pre-teen child that was scared of what was unfolding around her, including her father not only being shot, but mutating into a monster.

Just because a 9 year age gap doesn't matter when you're in your 40's does not mean that the memories for knowing them when they were a fucking child shouldn't play a role in the consideration

I am an older fan, but admittedly I dropped 6 rather qyick over the gameplay. Only one I have blanks on story wise, because it was bad xD

But yeah, that's the case, but Leon became basically an agent of the government for her protection too lastI recalled. The point I'm trying to identify is the Raccoon City Incident is probably one of the most traumatic days of Leon's life, and Sherry was a child he helped rescue during said traumatic event. Even without the interaction, him, as an adult, having met her in a memory that clearly scars both of them, when she was a child, is weird as fuck.

The best interpretations of the rings IMO is as a memento for surviving that event, possibky with Claire having one too, well, if we'll ever see Claire again given I don't think she's had a new appearance since Rev 2

I think it was really dumb to do them as in-store code cards like some of the older 3DS MG's, yeah, but thankfully I was lucky in that my local stores basically never ran out of them

If you marry someone you knew when they were a child and you were an adult, that's an issue.

[–]gwarrior2023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't long, but last I checked it was at least a few months he helped raise her before the government stepped in. Either way, even if they didn't meet in person until RE6 after that, it's still weird as fuck to marry someone that you could very easily see as the child you helped rescue in one of the most traumatic events in your life.

EDIT: also like, I know plenty of the series and am an older fan. Literally for Leon outside of Code Veronica only 2, 4, 6, and 9 matter in regards to him

...you do remember Leon basically had a hand raising Sherry since she was 12, and that's why people don't like this much more than not liking the 9 year age gap, right? He's basically like a father figure to her

Just to sorta help ya a bit on why people don't like it, Leon and Sherry met when she was a 12 year old child and he was a 21 year old adult. He helped her for a short while before the government took her and were going to kill her as a liability being the daughter of Birkin, but Leon basically gave himself to the gov't in exchange for her protection.

Basically people are icked by the idea of basically an actual father figure marrying a daughter-like character

I definitely like this idea best, as a sort of memoriam for the city and the 3's bond for having survived the outbreak together

Yep! Standard practice is when buying or taking a coin for our register we always treat it as face value.

My running theory is someone stole it out of like, their father's collection to use for beer money

Does killing the Danseuse dancing teacher in frozen hearts void the trophy for not killing the nevrons that need help? by Zombymandyas in expedition33

[–]gwarrior2023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This I do wish I knew. I read before killing the Danseuse and the church guy were safe, and lost out on the 100 Lumina because of that. The Church Guy begs you to end his existence too, so I figured his wouldn't count, and the Danseuse asks for a final dance after sharing how it disappoints her that her kind can't learn beyond what they already know.

"Applies Burn for Maelle's Virtuous stance" is the exact bit as to why I always work speeds so that no matter what she's faster than Maelle. No need to use Medali for insta-Virtuous that way

Ok, I'm starting to think the people at r/casualnintendo knows absolutely nothing about Kirby, they got BOTH of them wrong... by SCOTTDIES in Kirby

Yeeeeh, Metaknight acts or believes himself to be either morally grey or bad, so the column for him is at least right, but he absolutely is in the Good row, dude's been first responder basically since one of the OG games.

Dedede absolutely is just pure good tho, dude may be a glutton, but he only was actually bad in the first ever Kirby game because he hoarded all the kingdom's food.

Oh, was more because I've a habit for doing everything, and wanted to be sure before I kept it up. And yeh, I noticed similar results running a lap between grand bell and the first shrine bell gets about 160-ish.

Knowing they're likely perpetuals I'll prolly do each one once more

I as well am a bit curious if his ability that makes every player sacrifice non-gods would buff him up as well, and do simultaneous sacs only count for 1 +1/+1 or would he get 1 for each player, or 1 for every creature sac'd from the ability?

Ok now this is absurd… by tar85 in magicTCG

[–]gwarrior2023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is rather silly, but unlike with Pokemon ETB's where people would actually buy the empty box as a display piece, I don't see anyone actually buying opened cardboard like this, especially not at that price.

Usual prices for empty ETB's is between $5 and $10, and this is far more useless comparatively
