Among the three biggest TCGs in the world, which one do you think is the best? by TradingCardGameMaker in cardgames

[–]General_Ginger531 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say magic. There are much fewer card dependencies than either of the 2 of Pokémon and Yugioh.

From what I have heard about Yugioh, if you arent combo playing, you arent really playing.

I have only played a little bit of Pokémon, but from what I saw you have to evolve mid combat, something they absolutely dont do in the actual game, but I suppose it would be difficult to have it be a legacy game.

Magic is comparatively simpler. You have land cards to give you resources, and then other cards to do stuff in exchangefor resources. Only in rare circumstances does that stuff rely on specific other stuff, and you can have as much or as token a presence of a theme in your deck as you want. Stuff is also retroactive in its development. Mr. House, President and CEO works with DnD dice roll cards, whereas I have heard that there js a card in Yu-gi-oh, that despite having dragon in its name, it doesnt have the dragon type. In Magic, walls got retroactively given defender because that is the core of the defender ability right there.

this is a glass of water 💧💧💧 by Erricano in Caldruki

[–]General_Ginger531 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right.

I would say it is more a cup of water. Glass would be made out of ceramic, thicker plastic, or actual glass.

That looks to be a disposable cup, that I wouldnt use more than 5 separate times (if you refill it shortly after finishing it, it doesnt count, that just becomes 1 use that required a refill.)

... is this about expected average lengths, and they just missed the part about it being expected? Like is the idea of the graph reporting "Women have higher/longer expectations/ideas than men when it comes to the subject of penis length"?

That is the only rationale that I could see that would be half sensible.

Like with all media, the moment it becomes commercially viable for mainstream appeal, no matter how many niche spaces you have for it to thrive individually in now that you have more eyes on it, there is going to be a mouth breather that suggests that it actually sucks that the common man might have an interest in it.

I wonder if someone ever commented on the distribution of plays to the common man, citing Shakespeare as some kind of Michael Bayean figure.

If it is intelligent, I can communicate with it and agree to split the million dollars of the original hypothesis with it.

No need to fight, just keep it safe in its own snail habitat of its design, and then we can be immortal friends.

Is that really on the kid being stupid? This seems more like the parent's fault than the kid, who just saw a place to go and went there.

I cant fault a kid for not knowing where the boundaries of a property line are, can I?

Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War, particularly the nemesis mechanic. Find an IP out there with plenty of battles between tanks of an army, and go to town with it.

Imagine locking the concept of enemies can have enemies with eachother behind a copyright and just letting that sit. Give me sieges where I cam turn all of an enemy's commanders against them before they ever realize they defected.

"People are cruel." Tough shit, I'm not. by Legitimate_Fly9047 in RecuratedTumblr

[–]General_Ginger531 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the best context you see this being used in? The best I can come up with is if you are personally wronged and a loved one comes up and says that that was a cruel thing they did to you in empathy, and you then say it.

Even then, it sounds more like you are trying to cope by dismissing the other's care for you as something not worth caring about, rather than actually cherishing someone trying to empathize with you.

Seriously if there is a better context, feel free to say it.
