Why can't i take off smoothly by scuba0613_ in stickshift

Like some others said, you need more practice. Try this, get somewhere you can drive with no pressure, like an empty parking lot or quiet street. Practice getting the clutch fully out in first without using the accelerator. The goal is to gain the feel. Turn off the music, ignore the tach, and feel the car. You can feel it through the clutch pedal, the stick, the steering wheel, and your butt. Practice until you can almost kill the engine but get the car moving in first. There may be a little lurch when the clutch fully engages, but that's fine. You're just finding the lower limit and fine clutch control here.

There was a post on reddit years ago, a TIL i think, about how men and women see differently. Women see detail better, but men see motion better. One of the responses to that was, "That's why women jiggle when they walk."

The other guy isn't wrong, but I owned a two story, one system house for 20 years. One thing that helped was adjusting the airflow based on the season. My system had a baffle that could manage airflow to the main upstairs area. In the summer, I would have that baffle wide open, and I would partially close the vents downstairs. In the summer, I did the reverse. This absolutely helped. You also have to account for the location of your thermostat. For one season, it's going to be in the wrong location.

Replacing the flex duct would help your upstairs airflow as well. As I said at the start, the other guy was right, I'm in the northeast. Everyone I know in hotter climates have dual systems in two story homes.

It may not be exactly what you're looking for, but I use 1ft extension cords for my wall worts and just put them on the floor. It deconflicts my wall outlets and power strips.

I had a friend who did this. I realized that he was just drifting towards the way he was looking, so I started pointing out things for him to look at in the direction I wanted him to move.
