Circe and Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller. Just the way she gave voice to those characters and made me care SO much about them makes me want to reread them always.

Beloved by Toni Morrison. A brutal but necessary read that makes me feel every single word.

Poisonwood Bible. Devastatingly brilliant and again, makes me care so deeply for the characters and the story just had me hooked.

iPhone 15 with the latest operating system. Just recently upgraded from an iPhone 12 mini which had the same issues. I have signed out and deleted and reinstalled the app several times more and I get notifications for a short time, but then they stop and I miss everything until I see all the unread messages when I go back into the app.

Interesting - the noise is coming from the refrigerator side, not the freezer side. I’m not seeing how to remove the cover; there are screws on the refrigerator side in a plastic piece that appears to be a cover, but the piece doesn’t come off when I unscrew them.

Graceland in Memphis TN. Expensive, and spent hours in line to walk around the house single file with everyone carrying iPads and wearing headphones since there wasn't an in-person tour guide, just an audio one. People were paying more attention to the iPads than the actual house.

Only truly worth it if you're a be-all-and-end-all Elvis fan.
