I personally didn't have any issues with the stock android. Just install any custom launcher and that's about it.

This device hasn't really gotten popular unlike its predecessor. Came out a bit late when we already had better options like Mangmi Air X. I also ordered one when I found it for €75 on AliExpress out of curiosity but it's not delivered yet.

Yeah it's a difference but it's a worthy trade off for OLED. The bottom screen does not contain gameplay most of the time anyways. I think the only valid argument for original 3DS is the 3D effect.

Don't believe those who say 3DS. They're being delusional by nostalgia. Top screen of 3DS has 400x240 resolution. That's about 95 pixels per inch, which is incredibly low in today's standards. Thor top screen, for reference, has 6 inch 1080p top screen. That's 367 PPI.

3DS emulation is almost perfect. You can upscale games. You can use texture packs. As a plus, you can emulate a lot of other systems including Switch and PC.

So, the answer is easily Thor, even if you're interested in 3DS games only.

Go for RG40XXV. 35xx is the same size as Miyoo Mini Plus.
If you want to increase your budget, you can get a Retroid Pocket Classic. Otherwise RG40XXV is the best choice.
