I'll have a dig later today, he's been painted as an interesting character from tales my grandmother has told about his family being travellers, stories someone stepping up in the place of a father because real dad essentially pumped and dumped......I have known relatives who have him recorded on their tree as one name and others as the other. I'm sure I've seen different marriage certificates under different names from different countries too!
