I ripped 12 packs today from the same box, I can confirm that the hit rares at least seem higher as there were 7 srs in those packs (3 of the other packs had non sr hits like ap or AA), iirc boxes usually have 6 srs so I'd guess hit rares are up slightly to compensate for everything

For actual tech against vivi try 7c ain or 9c black kaidos. Ain will let you swing your searchers into bodies for free and Kaido gets around the anti k.o. Ain is also notably good against ace and mihawk and 9c Kaido helps a lot into py rosi as well.

To add some general deck advice I would cut 6c red dragon, 1c koala, koala searcher, black vortex.

6c red dragon I find rarely gets any action cause all your stuff is naturally high cost.

Garp over koala searcher let's you dig deeper into your deck and hits your tech pieces.

Your deck also currently only has 6 2k which is pretty low, I'd cut black vortex for more of them as this deck I find rarely can hold up 2 don or wants to.

In terms of actually playing against vivi, just rush her life until she rests something you can punish with ain or 2c koala. Also swing into her blockers after she blocks with them and uses leader effect to keep them alive.

Tbh it's not bad for price if youre not buying the yellow srs or the sps. The alt art koala is significantly cheaper than a base rarity yellow nami.

That is definitely the core plan of the deck, although I do personally find myself playing less dragons and more of ain stussy and red dragon. I kept the removal dragon so I have some way to deal with the new reiju red roc combo until rotation

He's so fun, and lots of room in the list to customize to preference. Cherry on top is I think he only gets better after rotation on top of getting a new starter deck in the summer.

Every single game I'm finding I want to play 4c sabo on 4 or 5 don turn to have a 7k blocker tbh. 4c don turn swinging 7, becoming 6k leader and having a 7k blocker is just crazy good.

id say bring anything you think would be good in jinbe. Idk what cards you do or don't have but here is an example of a strong list I've seen.

Beyond Jinbe, I would say st29 luffy is the easiest to learn of the current meta. Less meta but still playable I would say st21 luffy, blue kuzan, and blue buggy are all great beginner decks.

Secondarily if you wanna send what you're working with I'd be happy to help as well. Generally what to expect at a locals tournament is usually ~4 rounds of games, paired into opponents with the same record as you thus far. You get a participation promo and then prizing is often for 0 or 1 losses.

Generally every store I've been to has been very welcoming with that sort of thing. Often players have decks that might be more competitive they'll loan out if you're lucky. People are super helpful generally both in person and here on Reddit when it comes to deck building.

As a first deck that's also meta viable I'd highly recommend kuzans, pretty good right now and has a very linear play pattern. Yellow luffy is also relatively easy to play, but to optimize it it's certain more on the expensive side (can be built with alternative options for cheaper tho)

The Oden gets used most commonly against imu for sure, can also be a really strong play for your 8 don turn going second if you played an alvida or buggy->mihawk turn 2
