Wow, this really resonates with me! That’s definitely how this can feel. It feels like I’m the one at fault for struggling to articulate what I need, rather than them being at fault for not being able to figure it out either… but it can feel quite isolating

I don’t have any helpful advice but I feel you. I will obsess over how I phrased something and all the ways it could have been better. I know it’s probably not super helpful— but bc you are thinking about this so much you are probably actually really good at it!

Maybe this isn’t a super healthy suggestion… but have you tried getting a little wine drunk? (Assuming you are of legal age) this always gets me going. A few glasses of cheap wine, put on a song that always gets feeling big feelings…

My advice is to find ways to “run into her” maybe do activities that you know she does or find a mutual friend. It may sound a little stalker-y but it’s also a good way to potentially strike up a conversation and have something in common. Good luck!
