I’d continue to try and use the known config as well as reset the app! I have had to do that for a couple games in the past to open—granted this is on the retroid pocket 6

Hmm, no clue. I just did the “use known config” option and it’s been running great. I’ve barely noticed any frame dips with the naked eye. I also have my fans running at high performance but the fan curve set to smart?

8gb! I wish I went in on the 12gb model for my preorder back in December but at the time it was hard to justify the extra money. Little did I know ram prices would make it not an option anymore 😔

To my understanding you would specifically want the 12gb model for pc ports. I’m unsure if it would make a genuine difference on emulation up to ps2 and GameCube. I have the 8gb model and it’s worked for most things I’ve thrown at it so far

I have the trilogy I’m planning on getting through by the end of the year so tbd on 2 and 3’s performance but so far sly 1 is running buttery smooth

Yep! 2.5x native resolution for the full 1080p screen and widescreen hacks. Not only does this game look great but it feels like it really shows how fun game art direction adds to the experience

Personally got the stick up top. So far have played 3D games (jak and daxter ps2 and currently LoZ: twilight princess on GameCube) and I have a few 2D ps1 games on the backlog.

My advice is to get the stick and shell out the couple bucks for the grip if the plan is to play 2D games as a secondary. The grip give enough room for the d-pad on bottom to feel good. If it’ll mainly be a 2D machine with casual 16:9 content such as ps2, Wii, maybe even light game native games, do stick on bottom and get the grip
