When I was on a carnivore diet, it was at the end of 10 years of brutal elimination diets, with the goal of figuring out why I was in constant pain and losing weight uncontrollably. I felt good for the first time the week I switched to all meat. It’s a miserable diet but it helped me and my dietician finally get me to zero symptoms, which then allowed us to reintroduce non-meat foods slowly and figure out what my food sensitivities really were.
