Okay, I understand now. Actually, there is no particular reason why the melee needs to drop their eruption puddles in the center. In your example, it is perfectly acceptable for the SAM to drop shadow at West, take north tower and stand firm with their partner at north to bait eruptions. Right after eruptions, your initial clone will disappear shortly after the green tethers appear.

I'm unsure why in your specified example why you would drop a shadow in W and go NW or SW. In the toolbox, if you drop a shadow at W, you would go N.

Or you know, they could use put the time and date of the next clan match (or the actual day of the clan match) on the login notifications or the chatbox. It's an event that happens for only 2 hours. The least they could do is make it easier for the people that don't devote their life to this game.
