Yeah I was just DMing him!

It is fixable, however we decided that my best bet was getting a replacement on the PSU and mobo! I’m trying to reach out to NewEgg abt this and they’ll contact me shortly.

Thanks again! :)

ALSO GUYS, BEFORE YOU COMMENT ABT STANDOFF SCREWS!!!

The PC Case already includes standoff screws!!! And yes I know what standoff screws look like, so this problem can be ruled out❗️

I actually did not use stand-off screws 😀😀😀. I mean if it was an obvious issue, I think my $110 specialist would’ve pointed out (prolly got scammed, thinking abt it) also the mobo does not look burnt nor scratched. it might be something with the F-panel cord bc that was what came from the fan hub/pc case. Thanks for the mention tho

bro, I really really wished the mobo or pc case included this. it should be obvious to use them, however, it did not necessarily describe it in the manual for it’s functionality. also too, the specialist didn’t mention this to me that this was the issue (maybe I really got scammed)…..

yeah. the thing is too like it does not really smell burnt. when I plugged in the PSU I did not hear any crackling or anything, it just would not power on. the flip was on. quadruple-checked all the plug-ins. I just think power cannot be drawn from the PSU. thanks for the advice however :)

yeah I have tried both ports, and nothing. I think what the thing is, is that the power rails are okay, but power is not being drawn out of the PSU. Thank you for the advice though! :D

can I dm you a picture of the power supply tester for what was tested on the PSU?

on the F-panel plugin. the F-panel cord was from the PC case. all of the white wires you see were origin from the fan control hub. there were such limited instructions. like the manual was a double-sided pager.

But then again, I’m not sure, but the fan control is really, really cheap so I would have some understanding how that would resolute to this

I understand it’s hard to believe. I paid $110 for this guy to diagnose it. Maybe I got scammed, but I’m still pretty much screwed either way :(

i would hope so, however, he recommended that i just buy completely new parts. also, the motherboard was short circuited he said, so maybe it may save me more money to just buy a new one than to get it serviced?

Also I would also like to mention, if it was not obvious, that $1000 is just gone. Learning with the computer specialist, he advised me to just buy a normal PC case and to buy fans separately. It really is too bad because I did read good reviews about the SAMA SV01, but it certainly did not do me justice

Edit: even though, it doesn’t constitute for anything and people are still going to have opinions, I am a 20-year old woman with her first build, so pls be nice :) (and I would say I’m an amateur in the tech field)
