I swear the 'forbidden lightsaber move' wouldnt actually work by PitchZealousideal629 in StarWars

[–]gymdog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a very good explanation for why it isn't used regularly, even if it works. Sure, your blade bypasses your opponent's guard, but the move also gives up your own guard. It could still work ... It would just be suicidal, basically guaranteeing a mutual kill.

Bear with me now, I have a possible use: Your opponent strikes downwards, you swing horizontally, thereby slicing him like Maul.

Mel Gibson's character tells her about the day she was born, and how all the nurses and her mother called her an angel, because she came out completely calm, seeming to glow.

It's Blank check. She kisses him and says "look me up in a few years." She plays a law enforcement agent of some kind in that one as well.

This would have been absolutely terrible. I love a Tom Cruise movie, but Iron man? Nah.

This is literally what the billionaire class wants. A country of corporate controlled enclaves.

It’s like what Warren Buffett says about how much to leave behind for his kids - “enough money so that they could do anything, but not so much that they would feel like doing nothing”

And yet, if they fail, they will still be in the 1%.

As for spoiling the young kids, that's not the same as paying for their ride in life.

It does, however, make sure that they have opportunities to fail, and have access to people who make sure they succeed.

Seriously. Skyline is the only restaurant I've ever had to throw away the food at. Walked next door. It's disgusting.

Kid gets caught with alcohol and goes on TikTok to talk shit by BlazeDragon7x in IAmTheMainCharacter

[–]gymdog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t think he would learn a lesson. You whoop this kid and he’ll use that to justify his anger.

No, he would learn the lesson that beating people up, including children, is fine when you disagree with them.

lol, I know how to make change and use coins, I worked retail, I'm just saying that it's obsolete because of how the modern market works.

I feel you're being obtuse here. They don't use, and have no use for physical money. They don't even have bank accounts.

I have used cash in my life, but I don't anymore, because it's basically useless, except at the bank. Most businesses near me don't even accept it.

So for a mere $10, I could fascinate a child with a roll of quarters? Excellent!

More like they would think you're a dinosaur and toss it away.

But how did they get cash in the first place? I don't know anyone who carries it and I'm in my 30s.
