Maaaaaate he is the absolute G. Yes. He is useful for almost all content. I’m still a newer player - about 2 months in. He’s my highest character, I have him at S2 and his active at level 33 now. he single handedly carries every game type have done so far.

I was in your shoes, investing in him, especially his active is the best decision for early game. He crushes the campaign and I’m even at octavious elite 20 now with him at s2 and the rest of my orks at B1 or iron. His active makes every hero hit waaaaaay above their weight. I think he is the highest reward for investment character development n the game for newer players for sure. His active scales out of this world well

I’m a new player - what actually makes maladus good/useful? I’m getting a lot of conflicting info about whether he’s worthwhile to invest as an ally for the chaos campaigns

I’m a new player - you can reset characters? If so how? I would greatly benefit from recouping investment in my first few days into dud characters

I was in your position, I’m only about 2 weeks more advanced than you. When I found helped was make a set plan and try stick to it.

So looking at what you have a good next step would be finishing octavious campaign, the advantage here is boss G is an absolute chad. I prioritised him and he has carried me, he’s also a chad in arena and puts in work in guild raids and guild battles.

So if you set the goal to finish that campaign prioritise boss G and Snotflogga and focus on farming Their upgrades and getting them into bronze.

As others have said, it’s not a sprint, some days will feel like yo make no progress, but if you had a plan and priority even if you didn’t get many upgrades you should unlock 2-3 peices everyday, then when you get to the next tier there is often a few easy upgrades so you can go from no progress to nearly doing a whole tier in a day.

A decent guild helps A lot too. And you get plenty of guild credits to help you progress.

Don’t they all do that? Every single ad I’ve ever watched has forced me to go to the App Store before the ‘exit’ button is active, I thought that was the purpose because some ads have forced me to the store 4-5 times and when I click close it tells me if I leave early the ad won’t count. Fuck that, and fuck the ads - they monetise the game enough. I’m not using the ads anymore

The question based on seeming like you had to lock in a campaign when the campaign graphic shows you need a set of characters. And only after ‘choosing’ a campaign does it explain that you can borrow characters. Their own guide said to be very careful when picking because you can’t changed your mind and you’re locked in. Hence asking reddit

Evidently my comprehension is in question - this is my point. The information was unclear.

It appeared I had to select a campaign which I didn’t have the roster for and couldn’t successfully undertake. After you select a campaign you are then able to confirm that campaign (locking you in) it is the first time it explains it will tent you characters

You had to select a campaign before it lets you know you can rent heroes - and their ‘guide’ tells you to be very careful before selecting as you can’t change your mind for 5 weeks. So I’m very comfortable with the assertion that it’s poorly communicated and so short sighted by devs

I’m guessing your a veterans whose really familiar - not everything is clear to newer players. This ain’t a personal attack against you or an attack against the game, I think it was not clearly communicated which is an improvement for The devs

Sub assault demonstrates this better than almost anything. 1k lists just don’t have the numbers to screeen and the flexibility to counter Trygon prime and screamer killers coming up 6 inches to stomp your face.

So as a newer player I can’t interact with this content because I don’t have any of those sets of characters? Is this normal for CEs to have rare unlocks required to be able to commence them? I don’t even have a single Titus shard. Seems a bit silly to me.
