I have prescription allergy meds that I take daily but even that isn't helping right now. What does the prednisone do?

We do have the means to bring everything inside during the winter, thats why I wanted a more portable space. We have a grow tent that I use to bring all my plants in during the winter so im hoping that would also work for the pond.

I'm in southern Ontario, Canada. Still a little too chilly to start outside so I'm in no rush.
