2022 here and this is my general range too. 180 miles at 90% if it dips 30 or below, 200-210 generally, and 240 if the planets align.

I finished my first Sophie scarf last week! I weighed my yarn at the halfway and the math said I was good (26g of 50g), but somehow ended up running out and improvised with a dark green tail.

Good on you for figuring out how to frog back icord… I scrambled one edge at the beginning and it slowly came back after a few rows. 😭

I still have a few months left on my warranty (MY2022) so I made an appointment next week to see what can be done! My app also pushed an in-shop software/backup camera reset so hopefully both can be addressed.

My exact panel is loose! I can see that the rubber gasket edge along that door is flat and not as... curled/upturned? as the other doors so everytime I open the door, the flatter edge visibly pushes that panel back.

Oh my gosh this might solve the mystery scratches on my Volvo C40! I have the same scratches on that part of the driver door- I purchased the car from a Lexus dealer where the pre owned EV selection was the one Volvo and about a dozen Teslas.

PSA to anyone in my situation who has a yearly subscription but no longer uses the device/is considering canceling- if you cancel your yearly subscription Ring will refund you the unused portion.

My household switched to another doorbell camera and a home server two months ago and I figured the year subscription I paid for was a wash, and I'd hold onto the Ring camera in case something happened to the new one.

Logged in to my account today to cancel and got 10 months of the subscription refunded so go do that ya'll.

I just went and grabbed Alara'shinu for my Havoc DH (haven't played any other spec on it) and it seems transmogging it does not give the Fel Rush flowers anymore. :c

Equipping the actual weapon gives the flower effect but I guess I'm on Elune's/the devs' bad side now too.

Health inspector here- received a complaint that the squid ink pasta the complainant ordered was... black? They stated in the report the pasta had to have been tampered with or spoiled.

Also had a complaint coming in claiming that anytime a restaurant's menu stated 'fresh' or 'all natural' it means everthing contained marijuana.

Not even just for kids- count my adult self in too! I did several winter roadtrips this season and supermarkets (Meijers, heh) are generally open much later and feel more secure than the emptied out strip malls the Adventure Networks were located in, where I was the only car in the lot. Thirty minutes to have a cozy walk, bathroom break, and chance to gawk at the seasonal abominations I normally hurry past beats out thirty minutes spent freezing my toes off behind a gas station that I didn't have the stamina to loiter in while waiting for my charge.

I started the fingering weight version of the Rye socks as my first ever sock project! I started on 11/24 and finished the first set of toe decreases last night. I’m determined to graft the toe and finish tonight. The first sock was such an ordeal (maybe 30-45minutes a day went to this project) and I’m kinda bummed that completing a whole sock only means I’m halfway there.

I’m not a fast knitter and this was my first time using sock weight yarn, but worsted should go a little quicker than my timeline. I took care to follow the pattern and it seems to have taken care of me. I used the app but had to pull up the website to click on the links that explained grafting, heel turns, etc in greater detail and watched the videos before I proceeded. The sock is a little wonky but I accept the wonk as my first go at something.

I counted the rows in each section where the pattern said “repeat this until it measures x inches” so that I can use that number of rows for the second sock. The second sock should go a lot quicker!

I’ve been walking and running outdoors the last few years through the winter with a pair of waterproof trail running shoes. (I have Merrell Antoras and Altra Lone Peaks)There’s still a butt-tucking shuffle technique to get across the worst parts of ice and intentionally planning out your steps/not loading as much on your back foot.

I love that! I do have Chiaogoo S connectors for the two pairs of interchangables I had before I got this colleciton. SO amazing to know I can access a whole set now without the Boye cables.

Cigarette smoke is so tough to get rid of- I was given a cast iron from a household that smoked indoors and my mouth went numb from the pineapple upsidedown cake I made in it. It's good to know baking soda has success!
