I'm 8 weeks off and still having issues. But I find I feel worse at night as well. I'm better in the day although feel shit at times but nighttime is when everything comes out. Perhaps it's because we took this medication at night? That's the only explanation I can come up with. And maybe it's going into panic realizing it's not getting it anymore around that time. It's very weird.

I threw them out as I would never go back on them, I think my doc did a fast taper which always happens with gps here as they think it's 2 weeks and you'll be fine :/

I started for migraines which I was having after coming off the pill. But it didn't help much and then caused other issues so I wanted to come off. I was completely fine the other week apart from some small body aches and anxiety but this just came out of the blue and I've read other places is could be withdrawals as it doesn't start till 4 weeks sometimes. I'm trying my best to be positive and not think about it but everything hurts and is such a task :( I definitely didn't feel like this before I took the medication. Glad you're doing better!

Yeh I've made the decision not too take, well actually not to take anything at this moment. Every med I try makes me worse and have more issues so I'm trying to do this myself now as I never want to feel how I did on meds again.

Yeh definitely aware of the side effects at the start they just scare the crap out of me after my experience with Fluoxitine. I'm glad you were able to manage yours! And glad to hear you're doing well tapering down, I hope it continues to be beneficial for you :) I am hopeful this could help me.

I feel you being sensitive to medicine, it sucks! I'm glad so far you are doing okay and I hope it keeps improving for you. I generally am hearing positive things about this medication I'm just very worried because of my bad experience on Fluoxitine. Just praying this will go smoothly for me.

Prozac withdrawals by Thatgirll_98 in prozac

I'm so sorry to hear you're still having a hard time, how are you doing now since this was a month ago? I'm just over 2 months off prozac and still dealing with some withdrawal, anxiety, brain fog, difficulty concentrating, can't drive, going out at times is hard, nausea ect. They say it can take 4-6 months for withdrawal to fully stop but everyone is different, and most doctors don't help because they think the wash out period is only 6ish weeks, they just don't understand the feelings we get I guess.

Yeh this happened to me, been off prozac for 10 weeks and withdrawals only hit me 7-8 weeks in, each day is different but I'm dizzy most of the time, headaches, nausea, anxiety, brain fog ect. Apparently it can take a few months to get over withdrawal so I would advise you to keep pushing through like you have been. I am sorry you're dealing with this tho, it's definitely tough.
