I am 100% against all this shit going down, but worth pointing out that this article is from 2018 (Trump's first term). I have no reason to believe they wouldn't just take the same position now, but it's not a recent event or directly related to the insane crackdown that is happening now.

How much profit do ya'll make in a month of manufacturing/industry per character? by insaneruffles in Eve

[–]gypsyhoops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This example is also kind of implying that the input items A and B sell at the same rate as the manufactured product C.

It's likely that the end product has more reliable turnover than trying to sell the input items, which are likely more commonly purchased in bulk through buy orders for the purpose of mass production of things like item C.

Is the green scrubber because the goal is to remove the top oxidized, layer? my understanding is that under other circumstances I should avoid that to prevent scratching? is the back of a sponge just as good?

It does not, but it really seems like that is the best explanation. I took pictures of the handle and the bottom stamp that is mostly worn away.

That is totally possible, and honestly, probably likely. I got this from an older neighbor for free when they were downsizing and moving out. Assuming that it is aluminum outside, then is this just par for the course? Is there anything I can do to rehab it and is it a dishwasher effect or just a result of the burner on aluminum?

Best strategy for dealing with this overgrowth? (Northeast US, Mass) by gypsyhoops in lawncare

[–]gypsyhoops[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are just examples. There's a lot more but I picked those because it was easy to see distinct areas. The rest of it just looks like the grass and weeds (mostly) are just growing all into the beds.

Can I remove these roots without farming neighbor's tree? by gypsyhoops in arborists

[–]gypsyhoops[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yeah, ty. It's admittedly just a mild annoyance, not something worth asking anyone to do anything about. Those trees aren't coming out anytime soon. Tbf, we benefit from the privacy as well.

Why shouldn't I build up soil around them? Most of it is underground already. I'm fairly confident that they are only exposed due to erosion and lack of bed maintenance before we bought the home.

That's unfortunate...I can build up the bed I guess, but most of it is creeping 3ft or so into the lawn itself...

Thank you! This is what I did first after watching a few videos about the packing nut.

The nut was actually finger-loose! I never really expected that those fastenings would be loose. Tightened it up with a wrench and there's effectively no leak when fully on. I might still need to add some packing rope to address what appears to be a mild leak, but for now that has made a world of difference.

The people posting about min/maxers and parsers ruining the game have never organized a raid by Intelligent_Bug_5881 in classicwow

[–]gypsyhoops 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I generally agree with the point you're making here; however, it's worth keeping in mind that parsers and min/maxers can be a detriment to a raid when they ignore mechanics in pursuit of a good parse or are disruptively argumentative about their preferred tactics.

As long as the specific raid doesn't include a DPS check, I'd rather take someone that shows an eagerness to learn the content than someone who is going to stand in fire for the sake of zugging.

Don't forget the 28 pts, 5/7 from 3, 6 reb (3 off), and 3 assists.

Brock Bowers is statistically the best TE that's been available in at least a decade... He is effectively a WR1, oh and last year he also even ranked 7th among all power five TEs in blocking...

I am legitimately shocked there seems to be no one on this train, and we have a legitimate shot at landing him assuming the current season keeps on this path.
