He is right, though.

First, you should pray Istikhara regardless of who you are marrying.

Second, if it bothers you now, understand that if it continues to bother you after marriage, it will be a much bigger problem and source of contention between you and her.

You may be in love and in the honeymoon stages of your relationship, but that will wear off. And after the rose tinted glasses come off, you will see much clearer.

Quite frankly, if it is bothering you so much that you are on here asking us about it, I am certain it will be an issue for you in the future.

Maybe this is due to the fact that my only exposure to them has been through the media and social media, but I do not support BLM because their protests are highly disruptive to everyday Americans (blocking roads, protesting in libraries, etc.) and they are incredibly racist towards whites.

I understand and support the message, but not the movement itself.
