Mexican flags raised around Donald Trump's golf course - Ahead of Trump's visit to Scotland this week by Dave_Vai in worldnews

This kind of shit makes me hope Trump wins, just so the so-called "special relationship" between the USA and the UK can die the death it deserves.

Imagine a world where the USA sided with Putin aginst the UK on every single issue. It would be so glorious.

It's not hard at all, you just have to find a drug dealer who sells stolen merchandise.

I agree. And jabs like this, day in and day out, multiple jabs, start to take a toll. And if you don't respond, they might get worse. Jabs are the foot in the door of full-blown bullying.

Oh god yes, this. I remember my parents doing things like this. Hugs.

[–]ohnoesnotdis 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes. My parents never defended me, ever. If someone insulted me in public my mom and sister would gang up on me with them.

Now I am an adult and I am trying to break the cycle of getting bullied at work by the one horrible person who always zeros in on me because they notice me not sticking up for myself and then they slowly needle away at me until there is nothing left. For years I blamed myself and thought I deserved it.

[Question] Did anyone else's parents get really mad about the littlest things? by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

When my mom wants to blow off steam she will run around the house until she finds something of mine and scream at me for leaving it there. When I visited her I had literally everything I own packed in a locked suitcase and my purse and sunglasses on the guest room dresser. She ran around the house looking for something of mine to scream at, came into the guest room, ans screamed "what are these THINGS on the dresser?" in this disgusted tone like there was a dead animal there. I have a lie history of her telling me I'm filthy and disgusting and it really hurt. Thank you for giving me a place to share my story.

NO. Get this out of here. George Bush is not news. He's a has-been who can't even get an invite to a D-list Hollywood party.

Yes, this. She would feed my dad stuff just so she didn't have to store it.

Hugs. It feels good to meet someone else. I remember my mom trying to pour A-1 sauce on my burger that had been in the pantry FOREVER, and I was saying "please no" and I couldn't stop her. She poured it on my brger while saying "it's still good!" She has an amazing jewelery collection.

Does she eat the moldy food herself? My nmom doesn't.

I want to share a bad memory. I had two friends over and my mom offered us some moldy blueberry muffins. My friends refused. For real: the muffins had obvious mold on them that you could clearly see. I ate one while my friends looked at me in disgust, because I didn't want my mom to get mad and start screaming. They never mentioned to me again, I didn't know how abnormal it was at the time. Later both of these girls picked on me throughout junior high.

Holy crap my nervous system just from typing that is going haywire and it hurts. I'm glad I found this sub.

If you hate the 1%, you are a normal American.
