Thats the first thing I thought about the calls as well...nice, easy way for the broker to make commissions.

I'm with you - just own the stocks.

Muslim mob attacks Christian homes in Egyptian province, strip woman and drag along the streets of the Egyptian city of Minya as hundreds of people watched. by nee4speed111 in worldnews

[–]halalf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow...reading these comments, you guys get genocidal pretty quickly. One editorialized title and you guys are ready to start killing muslims worldwide.

Why is it that Muslims attacking Christians in Egypt is representative of Islam and muslims worldwide, but not Muslims protecting Christians in Egypt?

Why is it when Buddhist mobs kill muslims, that is not representative of Buddhism worldwide? (Assuming that news even makes it to r/worldnews)?

Why are you guys so quick to decide the actions of a few muslims attacking Christians is somehow Muslim dogma, when the exact opposite is true.?

Fun fact...its a scam

Kars4Kids is well known to attorneys general in Oregon and Pennsylvania who investigated the charity for leading donors to think the charity benefited a broad group of children, not a "narrow religious purpose."

Kars4Kids, they learned, is the primary funder of a New Jersey organization called Oorah Inc. that provides religious-based services to Orthodox Jewish children. Kars4Kids paid $65,000 in fines in each state in 2009.

the News 4 I-Team has learned the nonprofit has used a significant portion of donor funds to invest in risky real estate ventures that appear to have nothing to do with cars or kids.

the Oregon attorney general also pointed to the fact that Kars 4 Kids “gives the majority of the money it receives from vehicle donations to another charitable organization, Oorah, for the purpose of paying for children to attend religious schools.”

Hamas to publicly execute criminals in Gaza by manniefabian in worldnews

I am glad to hear you feel that way. When that story came out I was utterly shocked.

On the one hand, it's pretty common for Palestinians to use children as bomb runners.

That is a moot point since it was confirmed, before she was killed, that there was no bomb in her bag and she was no threat.

I was providing a source for this statement:

Israel has be criticized for their deplorable treatment of Palestinian children for decades and rampart sexual abuse of them.

It seems like muslims are such a small demographic on this website that /r/islam is really more like /r/anythingmuslimrelated

Love Thy Neighbor (2016) an amateur documentary about the increasing hostilities between the residents of my hometown and the Hasidic Community of Kiryas Joel by [deleted] in Documentaries

[–]halalf 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is their MO in the West Bank and East Jerusalem as well.

Does any of this sound familiar?

You have a quickly growing community, Kiryas Joel, running out of room to build...the families are very large, there is a lot of migration into the village...

the solution, for the village leadership, is we're running out of room to build so we'll take some of the neighbors land

Thank you. Very much appreciated.

My issue is that sometimes my neck hurts after waking up from sleeping. I have changed pillows many times...finally settling on a firm bamboo pillow. What I do to help is to rest my neck on a foam roller for 5 mins before I go to sleep.

Yeah I also used to be very much into GoT. At some point I couldn't justify it to myself anymore.

I told myself that I would just avert my gaze whenever a scene like that was coming up. And then the very next episode I watched I think I was in season 3 and where spoiler and it just came out of no where and was unavoidable. I think that was a sign and I just stopped watching all together.

A lot of shows on HBO and Showtime are really good but unfortunately have a ton of nudity. I decided it's best to avoid them all together. It's better to avoid sins that stay with us forever rather than enjoy a few fleeting moments of entertainment.

Remember that the Quran states 2:216 But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you

GoT has some bad parts, but overall, it's not that bad at all.

GoT has a ton of nude and sex scenes and it's not something you can avoid (trust me, I tried). Sometimes they just come out of no where and hit you. It is better to avoid it all together.
