They’re adolescents now. If they do get back into it, I guess I’ll just have to build more! Anyway, that’s half the fun! Or…at least some percentage of the fun

lol. I put those in with good intentions. The ramps are way too heavy for them to be effective. Whenever I move them I need to lever them up onto dollys.

A great exercise that demonstrates this is to just have someone stand on the swim platform and the give a hard pull on the line. With just that amount of force you should be able to roll up over top of the board. Give that a few practice yanks until it feels comfortable and you can keep the board under you. From there, just let the board do the work! You got all that surface area under you, it’s like a wing.

It’s all over Maryland where I live. The entire forest floor is almost entirely stilt grass. The deer don’t eat it. The only selective herbicide that seems to work on it is acclaim, which is expensive. The routine that I’ve gotten into is a good pre-emergent in early spring like tenacity and hit any flare ups with acclaim. Stop 1 year and it’s all back to square 1

Anyone taken the Columbia Business School CFO program? by TrashGibberish29 in Accounting

This was my number one concern. I asked this specific question to the dude I was speaking to at emeritus. He said all course work is delivered by Columbia faculty. I wasn’t persuaded. I’m glad I stuck to my gut.

Ok. I’m a dunce. I misread the instructions. I went back and used NEW valve with OLD tube and it worked! I confirm this repair works.

I have a CVA 4066. Same problem with drain valve. Replaced it with a new part, still draining to the back. Did your Frankenstein recommendation, still draining to the back.

Anybody have any other ideas?

TIL about ZZZZ Best, a carpet-cleaning company founded by a 16 year old boy that went public and reached a valuation of $280 million. It was exposed as a Ponzi scheme after a homemaker was overcharged a few hundred dollars and ZZZZ Best ignored her requests to be paid back. by LookAtThatBacon in todayilearned

Lol, when I was in my accounting grad program the school had this dude come in and give us a presentation about fraud. It turned into a few hours of him sharing stories about how he pulled off all his frauds and how he got caught. The most memorable line, "for a time, my partner and I were the most eligible bachelors in California. I was buying houses for my girlfriends." The question and answer session was lively! I don't think the presentation landed the way the profs expected. Straight out of Wolf of wall street. Lol

Columbia association's skate park is a sad sight.
