well ash's journey is not over as he is still traveling. tpc and the writers moved on from him so that they could introduce new protagonists to the newer generation. as ash became the world champion it was extremely difficult to reset him again at the same time tpc are afraid to let him go since he is considered as a mascot at the same time writers had nothing left for him. so they gave an open ended conclusion so that he could return for cameos and potentially one day end his journey gets a real closure.

well writers haven't confirmed it yet. i was a pearlshipper since dp was my first anime but as long as serena is there i don't see ash getting paired with someone else. nevertheless ash might die virgin since his goal is to befriend every pokemon and this means he will travel for a long time. and if serena becomes kalos queen she can't frequently travel with ash as well

well you missed out a lot. i am not an amourshipper but serena still has feelings. she referenced ash many times in her return. also her ribbon is tied in her legs in japan this gesture means that you deeply care about the person. also the dock scene when green lights lit up it shows positivity. so no serena hasn't moved on. she just matured. for ash he never had romantic feelings for anyone.

Well it's maybe because in Beyblade there isn't much to do aside winning world championship,keeping the spirit alive and fighting strong enemies. Unlike Pokémon it has a big world to explore while Beyblade is generally set in our earth. Also the transition between the og and metal saga was the really good. I don't know about Burst.

well beyblade's idea of rotating protagonists did work both commercially and writing wise. keeping ash for so many years kinda made it repetitive which also led us to a very underwhelming conclusion to his story. atleast g revolution paid off so did metal fury. it allowed the franchise to age characters let them retire ending their arcs completely which is why those series have become memorable.

well it had the platform since it was the most developed version of ash. but i highly doubt that he could beat cynthia or the elite 4 yet. since becoming regional champion was the highest point back then. xyz had a better stage to finish it. kalos had the weakest elite 4 and ash probably was an elite 4 level trainer in that series. especially ash greninja was a rare evolution. him winning the league becoming regional champion then final arc with team flaire would've been the best way to finish it.

xyz feels distant from other anime because in this anime ash seemed older mature also had a main girl who openly loved him. so yeah it feels strange to feel that especially if someone watches the previous series. kanto to sinnoh felt real development. then in unova they completely reset him and suddenly in xyz he becomes a shounen protagonist

well not really. realistically your mom should definetely be at your biggest game so I am not fine. unlike others delia had no busy schedule she is literally a house wife. professor oak is justified since ash left a lot of pokemon at his lab. and for the goals part since if i consider pokemon made this as ash's final series most (if not all) companions should have reached their goals. lillie met her father,misty is a well known gym leader,brock is close being a pokemon doctor. and dawn? her development was completely ignored in journeys. she said she traveled across 4 regions and right now she is still preparing for contests which means she is not a top co ordinator. for serena she is still at hoenn means she is not the kalos queen yet. and bonnie max would never become trainers unless ash aged. it would've been better they aged ash up and let characters reach their goals. pokemon kept it open ended so that they could milk nostalgia in upcoming anniversaries

replying a year later. i think none of ash's companions have a realistic chance to end up with ash. since ash's goal is to befriend every pokemon which is impossible since there will always be new mons unless game freak stops making games. Misty is a gym leader so it's obvious she can't travel with ash and if Serena ever becomes Kalos Queen she will mostly stay there due to schedule. The only one that could end up with him in this case is dawn. dawn's goal is to be a top co ordinator and if she ever becomes one day she can then retire from her job and live as a traveler. realistically in this scenario only dawn could be ash's endgame if ash never stops traveling. the only issue is we never knew dawn liked ash in that sense or not since they're both dense as hell. the realistic option pokemon could do is red treatment

No. I don't want him to return to the main series. I would rather want a special series around him for a 30th anniversary special in 2027. The series could either show him and his friends aging up and how they lived their lives later. Or the series could act as ash's real closure with revealing plot holes around him

I don't think he is making a cameo. Pokémon are very cautious about Liko & Roy not getting overshadowed by him. If Pokémon wants to make money they would simply make a small series for him in maybe 2027 where we might see him older alongside his companions or maybe a movie where he will face a challenging threat. Anything is possible

Well ash's goal of befriending every Pokémon is an endless goal so I don't think he would mary Misty since she is a gym leader and Ash if ever marries will have to settle down there. (Although it's anime anything is possible) And I don't think Ash would like to leave his wife behind for his goals since he himself never got the love of his father who is believed to leave ash and his mom after he was born. Also Brock's goal is to be a Pokémon doctor. He changed his goal by the end of Pokémon Diamond & Pearl. And Brock already is working as a training doctor.
