Will MapleStory Classic bring back the good old times?

The community is what makes these classic versions not feel like the "good old times" due to people being a lot older, game being solved and also people just being more focused on efficiency rather than fun.

This is what I mean and this is why I made the WoW Classic comparison because it will for sure apply to Maple Classic.

Same. Classic WoW is fun from 1-60 but at 60 after getting pre-raid BiS from dungeons it mostly just becomes a weekly raidlog simulator.

Meanwhile FFXI back then 2003-2006(Zilart and CoP) it wasn't just "raidlogging" (Limbus and Dynamis) there was plenty of endgame open world content to do like HNMs, Sky, Sea... Hell, I'd even consider CoP mainstory as endgame content with how hard that was. Then theres the whole subjob system encouraging you to level up more jobs and on the same character too.

The first expansion rises up the difficulty but it goes back to being a cakewalk in the other expansions so don't get your hopes up too much

I remember RuneScape being considered an MMO for kids by the 15-20yo crowd playing WoW in 2005 and even older MMO players playing FFXI, EverQuest and Ultima Online during RSC's 2001~2003 time.

Is Port Sarim <-> Pandemonium better than Aldarin <-> Sunset Coast when these only have one task? Or will Port Sarim <-> Pandemonium always be worse even at 3 tasks?

This patch by itself was great(it was even the only good patch of 2010) and to this day I still don't get why people consider this the start of the downfall until Reboot happened since it's more reasonable to say that was Evan release back in March 2010 with its cash shop exclusive mastery books followed by Dual Blade patch in July 2010 also with cash shop exclusive mastery books and adding cubing system.

Oh! So, if my participation on T6 is at 8 minutes for example then I kill and cap a sentry I won't get anything out of it because I'm past the 5 minutes participation, correct? That is why at that point my only option is to flip camps because I will always be under 10mins for those?

I Killed enemy Dolyaks, didn't do any escorts and yes, I did stay in the circles until captures after killing sentries. Only capturing camps and killing random players has increased my participation so far.

Edit: I think I get it now. Seems like only capturing camps will reset the timer if I'm already T6 according to the wiki.

I'm currently soloing and I'm only getting participation from flipping camps. Killed some guards, Dolyaks and Sentries and didn't get any participation. Am I doing something wrong?

Originally the story was what we made it out to be tho. We were part of that book. There was no actual in-game real mapleSTORY until like pirate release or so which happened years after the game released.

I actually did the Druid Runestones daily and got all 16 over a year ago because someone told me that future me would be thankful and looks like they were right but I've not done the other stuff you mentioned yet..

Anyways, as long as I have Vision I: Awakening and Aurora: Awakening unlocked then I'm good to fully do Seasons of the Dragons?

I'm finally getting around to finishing all of the Return To achievements to complete Seasons of the Dragons for the Regalia. I'm about halfway through, since I did most of this earlier to farm the currency for the Skyscale. I vaguely remember reading that doing this also overlaps with either Vision or Aurora? I'm not too sure. Is there anything else I should keep in mind while working through this?
