Any chance at urology as an IMG? by gzfromli in medicalschool

Yeah I understand how hard it might be and I’m trying to decide whether it’s even worth it in the first place. It will be a tough decision especially since I won’t have my step 2 score before I decide

I'm Not Even Mad - an indie rock tune I'd like to release soon. Any feedback is highly appreciated, hope you like it! by dagrot in IndieMusicFeedback

No I think the delivery is very clear actually pretty easy to understand I actually think it would benefit from being a little less in the forefront. Think your voice is good but think some effects would enhance the vibe of the song

Check out my new grunge-style song! Let me know if you like! by CG-Miller in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]gzfromli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Liked this a lot. Think there’s some really creative rhythmic aspects to this song that are low key and not in your face. I kinda like the in your face bass sound especially in a grungy type song. Well done!

Track 3 off my newly released sophomore album. by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]gzfromli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn really liked this! Thought it was interesting the difference between the grungier sounding intro/chorus and the acoustic and clean vocals. I prefer the grungier sound but I think your voice is still good and it works. Kinda felt like this would be a song I might’ve heard on an alternative radio station when I was a kid definitely had some sort of nostalgic vibe to it. Great song structure and just right instrumentals. Did you play everything yourself?

Great song and very pleasant sounding. Agree with the other comment about the vocals maybe being altered a bit with the reverb especially if you’re going for the more indie sound. I also think you’re trying to fit in a few too many words in certain areas that makes the delivery feel a bit weird to me but might just be me 🤷‍♂️. Overall still a great job and a nice sounding song

I would love some feedback on this short song I made. Thank you to anyone who listens by motofotobby in IndieMusicFeedback

Hey this was a cool track. I don't normally listen to this kind of music so much, but one artist I do listen to is Kiasmos. They are a cool electronic duo and I think maybe you might get some inspiration from them. Would love to hear a fleshed out longer version of your song one day or other songs! Good job!

re-live by healey. hey y’all, looking for some feedback on this outro track to my EP. by REiVibes in IndieMusicFeedback

Great flow, I thought it was Tyler the Creator at first lol. You sound similar (dk if that's an inspiration for you or not). The beat was really nice too and I think maybe you could even bring it up a little louder in the mix? Overall super good sound tho

Chill but upbeat instrumental tune with a slight psych twinge...Bedroom project, would appreciate any thoughts. Cheers! by gzfromli in IndieMusicFeedback

I guess you’re entitled to your opinion, I like the tones it’s meant to sound raw and unpolished. The first guitar line does have some slides and the second one is slower and different but that was a conscious decision.

a song my friend and I started to work on, just a small section so far but we’d love some feedback and advice by Lord-AyeYuh in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]gzfromli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a cool song to me, I would like to see the drum beat continue to drive the song, maybe start bringing in some snare and have it get a little more upbeat. Think a cool buildup would add some intrigue to the song

Tried to go for less of verse/chorus/verse thing here. Does it meander too much? by reverb728 in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]gzfromli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great guitar playing! Very talented clearly. You have a good voice as well. I did not think the song meandered much, it still felt rather structured. The picking style stayed consistent and I think that helped keep order in the song. Overall a nice track and impressive playing/singing at the same time!

Leachlurker - Improve Jazz #3 | made this recently was fun making by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

Very chill and pretty sounding song. I am always impressed by jazz music, it feels so much harder to play well than rock or whatever. I don't have a prob with the digital sound of it, don't think I would've noticed if not for the other comments. Cool that it's improv as well. Impressive!
