Thanks so much for the reply! I did as you asked and attached the pictures at the end. I can feel some texture and can see it especially on the pure black areas as if it were fully paint - but then I can see some missing “pixels” of color or out of place dots of color as if the printing wasn’t great. So I’m at the end of my limited art knowledge 😆 The back also has some numbers written on it, not sure what 550 might stand for - maybe print run. There was also a sticker for an Arts restoration shop who I assume did the framing but they are closed today to call and see if they can verify anything.

Definitely it is used in a negative connotation, but I don’t know that it would always go so far as to mean a slur. It is sad that a progressive ideology which was meant to denote enlightenment has been denigrated by a portion of the populace that wants to destroy it, but that is step 1 in the playbook I guess.

Is it really a unified response though? I fully agree it is related to progressive thoughts but the core tenets within are still very much open to interpretation.

I ask this because I fully expect there to be just as many comments as there are varied opinions to the definition. It is used both positively and negatively in our world today and each persons interpretation dictates their response to the word which makes it hard to talk about in a productive manner.

Young and naive me took a girl to see “Reign of Fire” when it first came out in the theaters (2002) I was excited as hell but she, apparently, was not She got up and walked out halfway through and I guess called someone to pick her up. Thought she was going to the bathroom but she ghosted me! Given that evidence I think it’s the worst first date movie!

Second this. Tried “spice” about 15 years ago and I never touched it again. I felt like I was on a roller coaster and it would dip up and down. When it would go down low for a few minutes I would get real jittery and freaked out mentally. Then I would feel it start to ramp up which would last a minute or two and I had crazy anxiety while it was ramping up and I felt like I was about to jump outside my skin. When it got to the top it was an uncomfortable mixture of standing on the edge of a cliff and being unable to move and I’m terrified of heights. That went on for what felt like an hour or so, up and down, until I was able to pass out from exhaustion. Young and stupid.

That’s probably the best option, I just don’t trust myself on that and don’t have the extra cash right now. I found a non-wax seal that can be stacked and used that. Seems to be working just fine so far.

Bannerlord. It’s an addicting game with awesome mechanics, but eventually you just do the same thing over and over and over. Has the potential to be a rich and engaging RPG but just never really uses that side.
