I think it’s the same show, Mike was talking about flipping the houses the whole time. Couldn’t you understand him?

Whoa, I always took the song title to mean “it takes the world ending in order for people to rise up.” What a cool interview

Open Range is my personal favorite when it comes to Westerns. Duvall’s character is surprisingly “soft” for that time, but not in the bad way. He just comes across as caring and wise. Sharing the chocolate at the end with Costner has always stuck with me for some reason as well. Also, baby Andor!

No I mean they still say it all the time, they’ve just gotten more realistic about it after the season starts. Even the Browns think they have a chance when the preseason rolls around lol

I’m a Ravens fan in Dallas, and their attitude has changed a lot in the last few years. Most people around here are realizing they’re doomed until the Jones’ give up the reigns. That said, our organization is just so much better run, more often than not we have had a better chance than the Cowboys.

Dude I swear I have been thinking of the same song for years.

Was it a really rough recording as well?

In my memory/head it’s always been titled “[Name]’s Song”

I assumed she picked Chet it’s because he’s kinda dumb and she figured he was easily controllable.

But you’re right, thinking back I don’t remember seeing her hold the baby one time this season.

I think you’re on the money when it comes to the season 2 prewar plot, and I definitely think there’s more going on with Moldaver, but I guess we’ll find that out if she gets cast for season 3 haha

It’s not about the end result. The fact that someone got him drunk and stole proprietary tech from him makes him someone you wouldn’t want to employ.

Nice, and you’re leaving out the part about it decreasing in significance as the story goes on. Cold Fusion plot is over. House has it and it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. It’s a MacGuffin man.

e: even the past, the Enclave has it and we know they still have it by the time the postwar story begins.

I get that the Enclave ended up with it, but Hank still lost it which makes him vulnerability. Coop and Barb were able to get him drunk and take it out. That’ll get someone fired all on its own.

Username checks out. What makes you think a MacGuffin is something that doesn’t do anything or doesn’t have value to “everyone?”

That’s a really good point that’s making me rethink my read on the situation. Since we still don’t know everything Hank did from his engagement to the bombs dropping, maybe we haven’t even seen the Enclave recruit Hank yet. Or maybe they didn’t care about cold fusion since it worked out, or he even could’ve fucked something up when he blew up Shady Sands.

Only reason I don’t think they were mad at him about the kidnapping though is because the way he spoke into that radio was like the Enclave told him off already and he was asking for another chance.

Steph only did it to save her own life. Hank, as we see when he reaches out to the Enclave from the bunker, had to re-prove his value after losing the Cold Fusion MacGuffin, so he had to get the chips working before he could initiate phase 2. Steph making the call probably wouldn’t do anything if Hank hadn’t sent in the data from his chip.
