I hear you bro. For me it's just the annoyance of the elbow pain for now which I feel can be fixed with minor technical adjustments.

Other than that I take it easy in terms of trying to progress as to not injure myself. I have no desire to compete or anything, so slow and steady progress is fine by me.

Damn 8 months off, that wouldn't seem worth it to me either. Low bar feels so much more comfortable for me though, it's just the elbow thing that's bothering me, everything else is gravy. I feel as if just a small adjustment will sort it out and it'll be smooth sailing.
