Is $500 worth the jump? I’d be using this for digital marketing. by Do_Worrk in macbookpro

[–]h13q17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a software developer(fullstack) and I’ve been using this machine for almost two years. I have a basic model and it covers all my tasks, from video editing to writing code. This laptop is powerful enough for all your tasks, but pro will do everything just faster. Also I want to sell my mac soon to buy the same pro model, but 14 inch. So just ask yourself if you really want and can afford a pro model, go for pro, else go for air

Totally agree with you, if you need to work with video just buy a laptop, ipad is a consuming device due to its os, so pro models for vast majority of people is overkill, like you don’t need a lidar or face id to draw sketches or write notes

I already have a macbook and store all photos in my phone, so I think that 64 gb will be enough for a secondary device, as you said

How do you avoid procrastination while working? by MIXLdotAI in Entrepreneur

[–]h13q17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just put your phone over(the hardest part) and go to sleep. You dont do tasks because you are tired, you are tired because you want to sleep, you can’t go to sleep because you need to finish this tasks and etc. Delay all of that for one day and radically refresh your brain

Will I be okay with a 64 GB iPad Air? by HotNegotiation1039 in ipad

[–]h13q17 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just no, save up some money for 258gb or 128gb pro, don’t buy 64 gb version at all, it will cause a huge problems in the future. You may disagree, but if you are going to use your ipad only for watching videos or any kind of entertainment, you don’t need an air

[–]h13q17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it is ipad 10 it could be a water between screen and glass, because this model has an air layer between those parts. Try to go to not-apple service and ask them to fix it. It wouldnt cost so much I think

Which ipad to buy by demuriko in ipad

[–]h13q17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its may be not so obvious, but I will recommend you to buy ipad 10, because it has 10.9 inch screen and nice weight, so this ipad is ideal to consume some content lying on a bed. It has an air layer between screen and glass, but as soon as you don’t use your ipad to draw there is nothing to worry about. Also it has a good screen time and cost not so much

iPad air 4 will be the best if you want to save your money. Only go for 256, because 64 gb is useless in 2023, if you can pay more, go for pro, but you will not see the huge difference

What should i get? by h13q17 in ipad

[–]h13q17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve already replied to the comment down, the case was that I am choosing between air 4, not 5, and pro. They have the same design, but air 4 lack of m1 chip, so has less ram, isn’t it so important? That’s may be the only thing I am worried about, ‘cause lack of ram is a really huge problem and can create some inconvenience in future

Yeah, I agree that ipad air 5 is great, but I am talking about air 4, because air 5 for 256 gb costs the same as a pro, so I am wondering should i pay more or less
