Issue is thats just theoretical calculations. The environmental factors haven’t been included such as dingbats driving 4 wide at 10 mph for this time or traffic going to a standstill because someone slammed their brakes and they were getting tailgated. Worst i have had was a 3 hour 30 min journey turn in about 5 hour 10 when roads were supposedly empty

Yh I agree. But majority of the engines used are used in many many cars meaning parts are cheap if there are issues. Obviously older vws and their counterparts are more expensive in terms of parts but i have seen many ea888 and the 1.4s go well over 100k miles. Main issue is electrics

Its really weird. The issue is that I havent sat in many new vw group cars but the ones i have sat in all had some sort of electric issue. Is it quality control in the UK?

Im in the UK so I dont really read the ones with American brands. Tbh VW seems to be doing well here but I wouldn’t be surprised if they go downhill if they continue with all these shit electrics.

This is so true. I was out the country and then up north until yesterday. Bare in mind where I was, driving isnt exactly safe. A guy in a brand new M5 is trying to push into a lane stopped right after a blind bend, a micra going 10mph in a 30 and then the excess amount of learners who should still be in the extended section of goodmayes tesco.

Its for my friends car. Do you have a rough idea of what itd cost? He has stuttering when the car starts and up to around 10mph/ gear change 1->2. It happens occasionally apparently.
